How to Apply Your DTF Transfer

You'll need: a heat press or household iron, a Teflon sheet or parchment paper, and a firm, heat-safe surface.

1. Preheat your garment for 2–3 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

2. Position your transfer, film-side up, on the garment.

3. Press at 300–320°F for 10–15 seconds with firm, even pressure.

4. Peel the film while it's still warm (hot-peel) — check your specific transfer's peel instructions, since this can vary.

5. Press again for 5 seconds with a Teflon sheet on top to seal the design (recommended for durability).

Washing & Care

• Wait 24 hours before the first wash

• Wash inside-out, cold water, gentle cycle

• Do not use fabric softener on printed areas

• Tumble dry low, or hang dry for best results

• Do not iron directly on the design

Troubleshooting

• Edges lifting after wash? Usually means it wasn't pressed long enough or with enough pressure — try pressing again with a Teflon sheet, 10 seconds at 300°F.

• Cracking over time? Normal with heavy washing/drying — following the care steps above significantly extends the life of the print.
